Images of Strange Insects Taken on Potomac River, Maryland, Harpers Ferry, 2007 June 27     These insects were hovering in the growing dusk over the water next to the bushes on the coast of the river. Their size was ~ 8 cm ( ~3 in ) Who knows what insects are thay please let me know. ( They don't look like dragonflies, do they ?? )
