Potomac September Flood Photos and movies of unusual flood on Potomac river on 2011 September 10th-11th and their comparison with photos of Spring flood and photos of normal state of Potomac river in September

After the entire week of heavy rains in Maryland the water in Potomac river has reached the level it usually has in March/April, having at least 2 meters / 6 feet above the season's normal.       It is very unusual because September-November in Maryland is the period of lowest water in Potomac.       The river is very low and calm these months, the water is clean and that transparent that all underwater life can be easily seen, especially in the evening.       I plan to create a separate page about Potomac night life basing of photos and movies I made in 2009 September-October.       Nothing like that is in this September. The water is high, dirty and is roaring like in the Spring.       During my twelve years in the USA I have never seen Potomac flooding in September...
